Sometimes in life’s battles we can feel as if we are losing on every front. Family discord, business setbacks, financial woes, or a decline in health can put a pessimistic spin on the way we look at life. But the believer in Christ can always find a way to conclude: “Situation excellent.” God can use our trials to work good in spite of the pain they bring. That’s just one more way He can be honored.
우리가 삶의 여러 전투를 치르는 동안 때로는 모든 전선에서 지고 있는 듯한 느낌이 들 때가 있습니다. 가족 간의 불화, 사업 실패, 재정적인 재난, 건강악화 등이 우리가 삶을 보는 태도를 비관적으로 바꾸어놓을 수 있습니다. 하지만 그리스도를 믿는 사람은 언제나 “최고의 상황”이라고 결론을 내리는 방법을 찾을 수 있습니다. 시련을 당하면 고통스럽지만, 하나님은 그 시련들을 사용하여 선을 이루십니다. 그것은 하나님께서 영광을 받으시는 또 하나의 방법일 뿐입니다.
