God calls each of us to different paths of service, and some paths are bumpy. Many believers have had their hearts captured by Christ and think that abandoning “essential” comforts and conveniences is a small thing to do to honor Him who loves us. They need our support. When we encourage our friends who have left their familiar environments to serve God elsewhere, we show our love for the One who sent them.
하나님은 우리를 각각 다른 봉사의 길로 부르시는데 어떤 길은 험난합니다. 많은 신자들이 그들의 마음이 그리스도께 사로잡혀 있기 때문에, 그들은 우리를 사랑하시는 주님께 영광을 돌리기 위해서라면 “꼭 필요한” 편리함마저 버리는 것조차도 작은 일이라고 생각합니다. 그들에게는 우리의 지원이 필요합니다. 낯선 곳에서 하나님을 섬기기 위해 친숙한 환경을 떠난 친구들을 격려할 때에 그들을 보내신 분에 대한 우리의 사랑이 드러납니다.
